I would first like to thank all my wonderful volunteers who helped make our Fall Carnival the success it was. And thank you to all who came we hope you had a fun time. Also, a great big thanks to all our judges who came and helped out with Reflections this year. We have many talented students and so enjoyed getting to see their vision of what "Beauty Is." This past Wednesday I attended the Ogden School Board meeting where it was voted that the ALA program currently here at Heritage Elementary would be moved to Taylor Elementary next school year. This leaves Heritage without a PTA President or Treasurer and several other positions for next school year. Cathy Beeler and I have truly enjoyed the service we have been able to provide for the students, teachers and staff of Heritage Elementary these past two years. We have come to think of everyone at Heritage as our extended family. We care very much about the PTA at Heritage and have worked hard to make it the success it is. Therefore we are extending an invitation to you parents to get involved and become part of the PTA next year. There are many rewarding positions available such as Volunteer Coordinator, T-Shirt Coordinator, Teacher Luncheon Coordinator, Yearbook Coordinator, PTA President, Treasurer, Reflections Chair and more. The above positions have been held by ALA parents and will need to be filled for the next school year. I hope you will consider becoming involved next year. You couldn't ask for a better principal to work with!!! The students, staff and teachers are just awesome too!!! The time you would be devoting to the students would well be worth you while. Cathy and I would be more than willing to train you in any of the above positions. To benefit you most the training would need to begin soon as we will not be here next school year to do so.
